Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. At the age 16, she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. After moving from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
