Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. In 2000, he started his acting career as a character in television shows like Opposite sexual sex. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in film adaptations based on comics such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Captain America/Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame in 2019 earned him even more fame. The Marvel films made him one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors.
